NQB Security provides six security services across South East Brisbane: access control, CCTV installation, alarm systems, intercoms, back to base monitoring, and repairs and servicing of existing systems. Every job is quoted, installed and serviced by the same licensed technician, and documented at handover.

Access control

Doors, credentials and site records for offices, warehouses and multi-site businesses. Inner Range Inception and Integriti, installed and documented.

CCTV and security cameras

Cameras placed to identify people, cabling built for Brisbane weather, and footage you can find when it matters.

Alarm systems

Bosch, Inception and Ajax alarms for homes and commercial sites, set up so the whole household or team can use them.

Intercoms

Apartment, strata and commercial entry systems, including full building upgrades.

Alarm monitoring

Back to base monitoring or self-monitoring through the app. Optional, priced separately, no lock-in.

Repairs and service

Faults fixed on any system, including ones we did not install. Undocumented systems taken over and put on record.

Frequently Asked Questions

You are one person. What happens if you are unavailable?

You get the person who installed the system and knows your site without a briefing. For overflow and leave there is a subcontractor network rather than a queue, and every site is documented, so anyone who does attend is working from a record instead of guesswork.

Why not use a larger security company?

A larger provider gives you a call centre, a ticket number and a technician who may never have seen your site. Here you get the mobile number of the person who quoted the work, and a documented site record you can hand to anyone. If scale matters more than continuity, a big firm is the right choice. For most homes and small commercial sites, it is not.

Do you offer service agreements?

Yes, priced per site once we have seen the equipment and know what maintenance it actually needs. What is covered is set out up front, so there are no callout surprises. Agreements suit commercial sites where downtime costs money; most residential clients do not need one.

Can you take over systems we already have?

Usually, yes. We come out, inspect what is there, and tell you honestly what is worth keeping. Taking over existing Bosch, Hikvision, Dahua and Inner Range gear is routine work, including systems left undocumented by whoever installed them.

What areas do you cover?

We recently needed to upgrade our CCTV security system covering the entire car park and rooftop entertainment area of our unit block. I initially received a quote from an existing installer I had used a number of times for residential installations, however he had several issues trying to work out how to get a camera to the rooftop of this complex. Because of this, I decided to seek a second quote. I contacted Nik and asked if he could inspect the building and provide a quote, and I have to say he exceeded my expectations with both his knowledge and professionalism. When he arrived, I suggested we tackle the rooftop first to see if the installation was even going to be possible. He had no issues at all — he clearly explained how it would be installed and made it sound effortless. We then proceeded to inspect the rest of the car parks. I cannot recommend Nik highly enough.
