Security Systems / QLD
Alarms, CCTV, access control and intercoms for businesses, buildings and homes across South East Brisbane. You get the mobile number of the person who installed your system, not a call centre and a ticket number.
Access control, CCTV, alarms and intercoms planned around how your site actually works.
When something stops working, call the person who knows the system rather than a call centre.
Every job is installed with a clear handover so the next technician is never guessing.
Six services, one person accountable for all of them.
NQB Security is Nikalaus Bowyer. He quotes the job, does the job, and comes back when something needs attention. There is no account manager, no dispatcher, and no technician turning up who has never seen your building.
He has been installing and servicing security systems since 2025 under his own licence, and for years before that on large project work for other companies. That background is why a twenty-four unit intercom upgrade and a nine-storey rooftop camera run are ordinary weeks rather than a stretch.
Licensed security firm under Queensland law. ASIAL member, which satisfies the industry association requirement for a Queensland security licence. Fully insured.
Systems fail. Batteries die, power supplies drop out, and a door that is powered to lock stays locked with fifteen staff in the car park. What separates installers is the hours after that. The fault path is direct: you call the person who understands the system, not a call centre and ticket number.
Whoever quoted your site installed it and will be the one who comes back. Nobody needs briefing twice, and nothing gets lost between a salesperson and a technician.
At handover you get a record of what is installed, where it runs and how it is configured. If we ever part ways you are not left with a cupboard full of equipment nobody can identify.
We publish what things generally cost, because being kept in the dark about price is a poor start to a relationship. A real quote still needs a site visit, but you should not have to book one to find out whether you can afford it.
01
Tell us what you have got and what is bothering you about it. If something is broken right now, say so and we will treat it that way.
02
No obligation, and nobody will chase you afterwards. Quotes for security work given over the phone without seeing the property are guesses.
03
What we recommend, what we have left out and why, and what it costs. If it will not work on your site, we will tell you before you spend money.
04
If your household or staff cannot arm and disarm it without thinking, the install has failed. You also get documentation of what was installed and where it runs.
05
Same number you called the first time. This is the part most installers get wrong and the reason most of our work comes from people someone else let down.
We publish what things cost and how they work, because most people want to understand what they are buying before they talk to anyone.
Based in Brisbane and working across the south east. Most of our jobs are within about forty minutes of the city, and we go further for commercial work and for existing clients.
Straight answers to the things people ask before they call.
A four camera residential system usually lands between $2,000 and $3,500 installed, depending on cable runs, camera choice and where the recorder goes. Commercial sites vary far more because coverage requirements and cabling distances do. Anyone quoting you a number over the phone without seeing the property is guessing.
Usually, yes. We will need to come and see what is there first, because the honest answer depends on how it was wired and whether the head end is worth keeping. If it is not, we will tell you that too. Taking over existing Bosch, Hikvision, Dahua and Inner Range gear is routine work for us.
Call 1300 153 645 and say that it is a fault. You get the direct number of the person who installed your system, not a call centre and a ticket number. Faults are treated as faults, not as new quote requests.
No. Monitoring is optional and priced separately. Plenty of clients run their system self-monitored through the app and add back to base later if they decide they want it. If you do want monitoring, what it covers is set out before you agree to it.
You can install your own cameras on your own property. What you are buying from a licensed installer is placement that actually identifies people, cabling that does not fail in two summers, and someone who answers the phone when it stops working. Installing security equipment for someone else in Queensland does require a security firm licence.
Bosch, Inner Range Inception and Integriti, Ajax, AX Pro, Hikvision, Dahua and Micron, plus servicing on older Tecom and Challenger systems. If a brand matters to you for procurement or compliance reasons, tell us early and we will work within it.
Yes, and it is a good part of what we do. Recent work includes a twenty-four unit intercom upgrade, camera coverage across a car park and rooftop entertainment area, and a camera install on top of a nine-storey complex. Body corporate committees and building managers are welcome to call directly.
